Just been reading the Blog About Your Blog post about a roundup of current blogging contests and thought that I should enter some of these and share them with you guys and girls.

Blog Paradise and Contest Whiz competition

Blog Paradise’s contest blog and Contest Whiz’s contest are giving away an impressive list of prizes including one year web hosting, 5000 Entrecard credits and six months SKY.fm subscription.

Techogy contest

Techogy are hosting their very first blog contest and are giving away $500+ in prizes - has a very easy method of entering too!

Tyler Cruz vs Winning The Web

Some of you may or may not be aware that Tyler Cruz and Winning The Web have started a contest between each other to see who can receive the most votes.

There is also a huge incentive to those who decide to vote for one blog or another, here’s the incentives for those who vote:

  • The loser of the contest will have to pay $100 to three of the voters
  • Tyler Cruz is offering 150 Entrecard Credits to his voters
  • Winning The Web is offering a free t-shirt to their first 50 voters

I have decided that I am going to vote for Winning The Web. This is purely down to the fact that out of the two Winning The Web is the only blog I am subscribed to. I like the way Winning The Web writes their blog posts, they are always really interesting to read, as a fellow blogger.

According to Winning The Web, they are currently winning with 30 votes to 11. Now, this does mean that I have a better chance of winning as the loser pays $100 to three of those who voted for the winner. But, if the tables were turned and Tyler was winning, I would have still voted for Winning The Web as I do prefer their blog over Tyler’s.

Last of all, I’d really like one of those Winning The Web shirts as they look nice and are in a pretty good colour by the looks of things :D

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is blog on your own blog about which person you would like to vote for.

Good luck to both Winning The Web and Tyler Cruz, and of course all of you who are voting - I really hope I win! :P
